One way street

Can't imagine why this is a one-way street. It was a very busy street in terms of both vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

Most of the streets in Paris are one-way. Very confusing if you haven't spent much time there and are trying to drive around.

Yes, but fortunately we weren't driving! I'm not I'm up to that! Some streets were so narrow, they parked cars on both side and there was no room left in the middle. I always wondered how one got out of there if he/she had to leave in the middle of the day. There just wasn't any way to do it!

It sometimes amazes me the spaces the French drivers can get into and out of.

I was in constant awe of Parisian drivers...they maneuvered in ways I would not have thought possible.

Super shot. I love the way the sky is showing in between the buildings.. Nice composition!

Paris, never easy to drive in, has gotten worse for drivers with the Socialist mayor. He has some very Berkeley, CA views about cars. Supposedly, his ideas make it easier for pedestrians and public transportation, but in my experience in Paris, this was not really the case. He was succeeding in making it more difficult for EVERYONE...
