Love the statue. (This is the museum I took a pic with my strobe of a van Gogh and thought I'd be arrested. Sorry guys. Didn't mean to use flash. I promise.
Great museum, right? They don't like flash pics, though. I've been told they'll often let you bring in a monopod...which would work, 'cause then you could get by without flash...or you could always get a really fast lens...for $500 or so...
Love the Musée d'Orsay and love the "snack bar" on the second floor. I used my flash once at Le Petit Palais (which is free btw). I apologized to the security person and she just laughed it off.
Lucky you, Starman. Of course, that's better than flashing the security person! ;-))
It makes me wonder how many of those people are actual France natives and how many are tourists. I love the turqouise blue balconies.
Congratulations to Lois Anne and you on your 50th. Great photos. We love Paris, good baguette and fromage...we've been there a few times. I couldn't see your Booksellers and A Paris Street...Hope to see them! Thanks for sharing
Those blue balcony fences are the cat's meow!
