So many Paris cafes, so little time!

So true, but the fun is in the atempt.

I just read a terrible review of this place. The guy seemed surprised to find that a café next to la Tour Eiffel would be expensive. Can we say naive?

We never did eat here, Starman...did the review say the food was poor or just expensive?

Yes, you got that right! So little time. But anything you do in Paris is memorable, so take your pick. I'm enjoying getting seeing the city again through your photos.

Both, actually. We ate one evening at a bistro just off rue Cler. It was not expensive, but neither was the food memorable. The friendly waitress more than made up for the lack of quality in the food.

The food here was amazing and so was the service- it was the only restaurant that served us after 12am- the waiter was very accommodating and the food was delicious.. escargot, onion soup and steak- so good that we returned the following day!
