This is why so many people love Paris and return over and over again. It's the small and welcoming corner bistro or shop surrounded by well-worn sidewalks that a million shoes have crossed. Interesting people enjoying the place and the bustle of thier lives. (And smart folks know to ride scooters to get around and head off some of the congestion.) Wouldn't a coffee and chocolate be great there about now.

You said it very well, Frank. Paris is like a magnet, and attraction is visceral. Even as I post these photos, which I've seen many times, I get this woozy feeling in my stomach (or somewhere) and the urge to hop a plane!

We ate dinner there one evening. Nice ambiance because of its location. The food was just so-so. Still, I would do it again if in the area at dinner time.

That's what I like about Paris...even the so-so spots are worth visiting again! And there ain't many so-so spots!
