This is a nice composition, I like and recognize the atmosphere. You captured the evening spirit.
In your picture shows up one of the few things I most hate in Paris: those horrible trash bags. I know that they are there for security reasons after the 1995 bombings, but I really hate them!

Hi VP! I didn't even notice the trash bags...that's probably because we have similar things here in some areas. But you're right, they are pretty ugly!

The trash bags aren't as ugly as the trash that would be all over the place if they weren't there.

Funny, I was going to remark on the trash bags, too. They somehow look better in Paris :) Maybe I need to take that trip again. . . . I really like this photo a lot. I can't quite place the buildings, so it's like seeing the location for the first time.

Starman is right, I was there when they welded shut every bin in town and there were piles of rubbish around them.
