Chateau de Versailles poster

Cieldequimper at Versailles Daily Photo has posted several beautiful photos of fountains, statuary and fireworks in recent days. It is my understanding that this event is held each summer. This photo was taken, obviously, in 2007, and I believe it is advertising the same event.

If not, I'll ask Cieldequimper to correct me.

I would be curious to know what ciel thinks of your 'blasphemous' (for Versailles) header with the Chateau marked as 'Paris'...

@ VP - God, I hope she doesn't get mad! I'm just an ignorant American who figured at the time Versailles was part of larger Paris. What do I know?

Yikes! Now that I think about it, I might be in big trouble!

Thanks a lot, VP! ;-))

I hope those people just inside the gate aren't in a queue to get in to see the Palace. I, too, wondered why you chose the chateau to represent Paris. Now, we know. I suppose, technically, it could be used that way since it was the seat of the government when the king was there.

Well, for us visiting Americans, Versailles was a big part of our "Paris" experience...plus I did a pretty good job of stitching together several photos to make that panorama...got to show it off somewhere... :-)

@ Jacob - I was obviously joking: your header is great. Don't you dare change it!
