Very cool photo. This is so relaxing! I love the way the patterns in the bridge work with the tower and the darkness.

I have never been on a boat on the Seine at night.

@ VP - That's hard to believe! I thought you've been everywhere and done everything!

On a boat on the Seine at night is a lot of fun...especially if the weather is nice. Next time you're in Paris give it a try!

Next time we're there, we're going to go on an evening dinner cruise.

Have a great weekend, my friend.

No wonder they call Paris the City of Lights. I entered a competition on the radio and the prize is flights and four nights in Paris. I hope I win.

@ BlossomFlowerGirl - I hope you win, too. Paris is utterly fantastic. For us it was an experience of a lifetime and we can't wait to go back.

What an interesting pic! Capturing at the same time the river, a beautiful bridge and the renown tower! Good job!
God bless you!

Jacob, thanks for your visit and kind words on my personal blog (http://sheryltodd.blogspot.com/). There are quite a few entries on Bend, Oregon, and I do tend to take different pix than Lee does. There's a lot to photograph in the town. I like the nature pix, too, but I take everything. I've been trying to spend more time with the personal blog, but have not gotten back into the swing after summer. The Astoria Daily Photo site, started in April, seems to take up more time than my daily (longer) entries on the personal site. Then summer was busy with the web site, new shopping cart, and other unexpected interruptions. I really enjoy the personal site and my goal is to put up a few pix each day from wherever I am, and sometimes that's Bend :) Onward, and again, I appreciated your visit and comments! If you search for bend in the google box on the site, you'll find more about the town.

Ciao, my friend.

Okay, I am going to try to comment one more time. I've never taken the evening cruise on the Seine, but this picture makes me want to do that.

@ Starman - You were having trouble commenting? Blogger sometimes doesn't function as well as it should. I couldn't even get on the Internet for most of two days! But I think that was mostly the fault of Cox Cable!

Thanks for keeping on keeping on!

«Louis's» guess is that you shot this from Avenue New York looking through Passerelle Debilly. Nice shot, Jacob!
