l'Eglise du Dome

This photo of the Eglise du Dome was taken from the Rodin Musee jardin. Part of the complex of Les Invalides, the Eglise du Dome was commissioned by Louis XIV. Today it is a museum, and no longer used as a church. It houses Napoleon's tomb among other things.

Last summer in Paris, I watched a quiz show that originated from the rotunda of l'Église du Dôme. It was all about Napoleon and his army.

That makes sense, Starman...there's a whole section there about Napoleon and his army...

One of «Louis's» regrets about his time in Paris is that he never went inside l'église du Dome....

It is very beautiful, Louis, with quite a lot to see.
