A view of Paris from Notre Dame
On our way to the Batobus, Lois Anne fell and sprained her ankle. She said she was fine. We went to Notre Dame. Then she decided she wanted to climb to the top. I said I would wait. I waited on a corner. She climbed to the top with a sprained ankle. But she got this shot!
When she came down, she could barely walk and her ankle looked like a balloon. But there were other sights to see, so we went walking. And walking. And walking. Wasn't too good for the ankle. Yet with ice and rest she was ready to go the next day.

My second brava today to a brave Lois Anne.
Wow, beautiful photos of Paris.
As long as the ankle wasn't broken, I guess the trip up was worth this shot. It is really good. You could always have offerd to carry her...it is the romantic City of Lights.
That's a nice thought, Frank, but I couldn't carry myself up those stairs - they go on forever! She took a lot of other shots which are also well-done and we'll post those in ze days ahead...
If I didn't know this was a picture, I never would have guessed. Kudos to Lois Anne for her courage. I would like to go up there but it would take me so long, the people behind me would either be complaining loudly, or throwing me out of the building.
«Louis» lived only a few blocks from Nôtre-Dame and often went to the 11:00 choral mass there, but he never went to the top!
wow Lois Anne, I'm so proud of you! Thanks so much for this picture!
Léia :)
