I was a bit disappointed with le Palais de Versailles.
We really loved our experience there, except it was so bitter cold! And inside was very crowded.
Versailles was once little more than a hunting lodge in a swamp. Then along came Vaux-le-Vicomte....
Thanks so much, Louis. I've printed the story of Vaux-le-Vicomte and it will go into my Paris file!
