We went to Versailles our first time in Paris. We haven't been back since then.
What a rich tapestry of marble and gilt in this opulent Palace - I have been there once and would love to return and soak up the atmosphere of this amazing place.
One thing I loved about living in Europe, was all the beautiful colours of marble.
So much gold, it's hard to believe. I like the statue. It's always fun to see the palace, since I've never been there.
