It's too bad Orly West doesn't get more international flights. It's a much nicer airport and you can see la Tour Eiffel as you walk from the plane to the terminal.
Orly used to get international (not European) flights, but they stopped using that airport when expansion on CDG began back in the early 90s. I think CDG is one of the worst airports for travelers. It is not well-thought out, especially the new additions. They were just sort of "addedd-on", and when the new addition opened a few years ago, the building collapsed and killed several people. THat's French engineering for you. I avoid this airport as much as I can!!
This great photography, Jacob, is very close to me in the past as a bustler between USA and Germany, but I thank you so much for this: “True friendship comes when the silence between two people is comfortable.” (Dave Tyson Gentry)

The watery blending of the edges gives a sense of motion. I love airports. It's fun to visit CDG with you.
Always busy scenery there! :)
Imagine last week with all flights canceled because the weather ( snow )!

This almost looks like an ad for traveling! I was there 2 years ago, it was actually not busy at all.
