Yes Notre Dame photographs well from all angles and this is a lovely shot with the trees in the fore-ground. I am just reading/looking at a lovely book about Pierre Yves-Petit they are black & white photographs taken whilst he wandered the streets of Paris in the ~between wars~ era. Many were taken from the left bank looking across to Notre Dame with different light aspects ~ mainly very early morning or evening shots. He always signed his photographs just "Yvon"

Oh yes through the trees.
Any framing through the trees gives a special effect.
By the way I am now reminded of the story of the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
