Will probably see this in person in a couple months. We leave for Europe tomorrow. A month in Germany, then a month in Spain and finally, Paris!

Wonderful stone work and, of course, a no less wonderful background.

Jacob, I was rambling on a few weeks ago about drawing from a sculpture near this one, but in fact this is the one I drew, not the other one (crocodiles). How could I forget this bare butt? If I get around to photographing the result of the collage with the drawings in it, I'll let you see it. I think you'll be amused.

I adore the Musee d' Orsay! When I visited, I was so fascinated by the architecture, I took more pictures of the walls and ceilings than anything else in it. Must go back for the rest.
