Just another day at Notre Dame

Thankfully, I can say I've never had to endure a crowd of that size anywhere in the city. Timing is everything.

Notre Dame is always beautiful- it never ceases to amaze me how the different light changes the ambiance of this grandeous lady. I think my favourite is l'heure bleue - she looks soft and golden. have a good week

Starman is right, but the crowd was much worse few days ago, with queues to the full length of the parvis.

I think this is another photo all the tourists have. But there's a reason for that - it's such a wonderful monument to photograph!

When we were there, we didn't go in (no crowds then!), because we came from across the street -le Louvre, and spent many hours there. But I love the architecture of the Gothic period.
