By the time I got to the head of the line, I'd be too tired to climb to the top.

The last time I climbed up there was almost fifteen years ago and usually I am in no mood to try it again...

I like the unusual angle of the cathedral, nice shot!

I don't remember seeing any lines for this when I was there last year. But I didn't go up either. By that time, I had climbed the Eiffel Tower, the bell tower in Bruges, and run many miles so the climbing spirit may have left me!

I am afraid I don't have patience to wait in lines like that...but I could stand outside there and look and look and look at the architecture.

This is one reason I never went up.

I am always amazed that in Paris someone would stand in a line for an hour (more??) for anything! There is too much to see and do for that. I don't expect to get withing blocks of Notre Dame next week. It's crazy!

I did not know you two had been married for 50 years! And Lois-Anne always looks so young, from the few jogging/walking shots we've seen. :D

I really miss Paris. It's fun seeing it through other people's eyes. I wish I had more pictures from when I lived there.

And I didn't get within blocks although I did take some photos behind ND in that lovely little park. Tourist Central on the front side though. Remind m to tell you about my fav restaurant across the bridge from here.
