@ Starman - Hi Bob! It's certainly worth a visit the next time you're in Paris. Lots of interesting items to see - the weaponry alone is rather amazing...
I love it that you've posted this photo! I have a very dark photo of it from an earlier trip, and there was some problem such as running out of film or batteries. I only know I have some interesting dark pix from this museum years ago - nothing like the beautiful lighting you captured here. It was such fun to see this! I hope you'll post more.
@ VP - You know, I don't know if they allow photos or not...we just walked in, started snapping away and had a great old time. Nobody said anything to us!
Kind of like teaching school. If you want to do something different, don't ask the administration 'cause they'll say "no." Go ahead and do it and then ask permission; or apologize!

Walked around the outside but never entered.

«Louis», like Starman, walked around, but didn't go in. C'est dommage, «Louis» being a military history buff...
@ Louis - Why not? It's terrific and you could easily spend 2-3 hours in there! Especially in the buff.

Great image of a very interesting museum. It's a good thing that they allow photos.
Great sculpture!
