Ah, beautiful photo! I like the untweaked one, but I'm such a Parisophile, or whatever you'd call it. You got a nice, bright day and yet with dramatic clouds. It's really beautiful. Did you go inside?
«Louis» made his first trip to France in 1996. After that, he visited once or twice a year until he moved there in 2005. In all that time, he went by Invalides many times, but never actually visited... Quel dommage!
Went to Les Invalides during my very first Parisian trip, but haven't been back since. There's just too many things that need to be seen. And that's one of the problems during this trip. So much to see, so little time....and....it's too cold. It isn't likely we would ever come back at this time of year, regardless of how beautiful it may be.

@ Tapirgal - Yeah, I like the untweaked one better, too. And we did go inside - more shots of that to come!

I sign for the untweaked version either...

Fantastic post Jacob !! In photo the building is looking made up of Gold !! Amazing Captures.
I like the first version but with the brighter golden dome of the second.
Ah, next year, Christmas in Paris. Nice idea, you agree??
