Sainte-Chapelle

Commissioned by Louis IX in 1242 to be royal chapel and a repository for the relics of Christ's passion, including the crown of thorns, Sainte-Chapelle is considered today to contain the most beautiful stained glass in all of Europe.

Beautiful shot. One of the most impressive place on Earth, if in a quiet and not too numerous company.

Sainte-Chapelle is truly worth the price of admission. Also went to a concert there in the lower section.
