A magnificent view of Paris, I wonder how far you can see. It must be a big tourist attraction to climb the tower - I should imagine there would be some type of barricade to prevent falling and flattening the people below! Cheers. Melbourne Daily Photo
@ Starman - I climbed the Arc de Triomphe and it damn near killed me. So, I passed on the towers...but my dear wife, who had tripped and fallen as we were going down to the Batou Bus, and sprained her ankle badly, decided she was going up...she waited forever in line and I understand the climb is very difficult...but she thinks she's still a kid (she was 68 then) and went all the way.
Her ankle looked like a balloon when she got down but we continued to walk around anyway...she iced it back at the motel and that helped.
She said it was quite an experience and worth all the pain.
I waited on the corner, anxiously, as it took so long I was afraid she'd passed out or fallen off the towers!
This is classic and beautiful! How did I know that Lois Ann took it? I seem to remember that someone doesn't like heights. I'd love to have been up there. For some reason, I've never done it - closed for construction, long lines, whatever, whatever. So that's reason #511 to go back.

Lois got a great shot! I wish I could have gotten up there. Ah well, there's always la Tour Montparnasse.
