I'm pretty sure I climbed those steps during my first visit to Paris many, many years ago.
Starman - We never got over to those steps but there seem to be a lot of them. What intrigued me was that tunnel...do you know where that goes?
This shot would make a fantastic Sky Watch Friday entry!
I think it's Métro entrance, but don't quote me.
This is fine shot of rue Beethoven. The tunnel, for what I remember, is not a tunnel but a private parking, usually closed by large green doors.
